Carol Codianne

Carol Burks Codianne 87 of Lenox, GA passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on April 5, 2023 at her home. She was born November 29, 1935, in Newnan GA to Katherine and Horace Burks. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Harry Codianne; her mother Katherine Burks; her father Horace Burks; sons Bradley Steele and Edward Codianne; and her grandson Joseph Codianne. Her son Kenneth Steele passed in December 2023. Survivors include her daughter Catherine Codianne of Lenox Daughter-in-law Gloria Codianne (Edward); son Harry (Kathy) Codianne of CA; sisters, Shirley Camp of Lenox and June Olson of FL; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, and cousins.

The void left by Carol's passing is immeasurable, and words cannot adequately convey our grief. Yet, we are grateful for the time we shared with her and cherish the indelible memories she leaves behind. Though her time with us was cut short, she lived a marvelous life surrounded by family and friends. 

Please join us in celebrating her life on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home. 

Burial will be held at a later date in San Diego, California.
