Brenda Redding, 78, of Adel passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Brenda was born to the late Kinlaw and Irene Baker Cannon on February 20,1945, in Nashville, GA. She had a love for making beautiful flower arrangements that brought joy to those around her. Brenda also found peace in fishing and hunting. Lola, Brenda’s beloved dog, was Brenda's constant companion and her true pride and joy. As a devoted follower of Jesus, Brenda shared her faith with everyone she met. Her simple and unwavering belief in God touched the hearts of those around her.
Survivors include her brother, David Cannon of Valdosta, and her many beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Redding; brothers, Robert Cannon and Henry Cannon; and sister, Sharon Sirman Lankford.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Long Bridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
