Bobby Swain

Bobby Swain, 79 of Adel passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Mr. Swain was born June 8, 1944 in Nashville to the late Elisha & Mary Gaskins Swain. He served in the United States Army and was very patriotic to the Veterans Group. Mr. Swain was dedicated to his friends and love ones. He rescued birds and had a passion to service his community.

Survivors include his loving wife, Judy Swain of Adel; niece, Linda (David) Dowis of Cleveland, GA; nephew, A. W. Griner of Saluda, S. C; and a great nephew and a great niece. Mr. Swain was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Griner; and his niece, Doreen Griner.

A graveside service will be held Monday, October 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Mac McFadden officiating. The family will greet friends at the cemetery at 10:30. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to the VVA Chapter 1090 of Adel.
