Betty Weeks

Mrs. Betty Joyce Weeks, 62 of Norman Park passed away December 18 2020 at Southwell Medical Hospital in Adel. Mrs Weeks was born August 28, 1958 to the late Harvey & Margaret Powers Flowers. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone she could.

Survivors include her children, Lee (Chelse) Henshaw of Tifton, and Michael Weeks of Adel; granddaughter, Glynn Henshaw; brothers, Travis (Tammy) Flowers of Adel, and Wayne Flowers of Adel; and sister, Faye Jung of Savannah. Mrs. Weeks was preceded in death by her husband, DeWayne Weeks.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Pastor Wilbur Shaffer, Sr officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn City Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Sunday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
