Anne Elizabeth Harnage, 77, of Lenox passed away on November 1, 2023, at her residence. Mrs. Harnage was born July 14, 1946 in Nashville to the late Leon & Mae Bennett Rutherford. She was a lifelong member of Bethany Baptist Church. She believed in keeping her brain sharp by reading, cross stitching, and crossword puzzles. Mrs. Harnage enjoyed gardening, baking and quilting, which she gave many quilts away that she had made.
Survivors include her children, Lenn (Cindy) Harnage of Hahira, and Melanie (David) Baker of Lenox; grandchildren, Hannah Grace Harnage, Jessica (Donald) Franklin, Jr, Courtney (George) McLeighton, Dillan Baker, Austin (Haley) Baker, and Melena Baker; great grandchildren, Tyler Franklin, Colton McLeighton, Leigha McLeighton, Hazel McLeighton, Parker Baker, Logan Baker, Simmons Baker; brother, Ronald (Jessica) Rutherford of Tampa, Fl; sisters, Mary Portivent of Hahira, and Lee Cornelius of Hahira. Mrs. Harnage was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Harnage; grandson, Collin Bryce Harnage; sisters & brothers in law, Patsy (Lewis) McCrimmon, Virginia (Vernon) Bass, and Lavern (John) Dorsey.
Funeral services will be held at Bethany Baptist Church on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 11:00 A.M with Pastor Jeff Riley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
