Willie "Billie" Dukes Obituary
Mrs. Willie "Billie" Jean Dukes, 84 of Quitman passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at Presbyterian Home Quitman. Mrs. Dukes was born January 6, 1934 to the late Willie & Abye Parks Ring. She was a homemaker and a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jerome Dukes of Quitman; children, Deborah (Lee) Medders of Live Oak, Fl, Margaret (Bill) Hardee of Morven, Sylvia Dukes of Mayo, GA., and Kimberly Dukes of Valdosta; seven grandchildren, Deborah Walden, Hugh Hart, Justin Hart, Abby Hardee, Jake Hardee, and Dalton Bruce; 11 great grandchildren; and one brother, Larry (Clara) Ring of Alma, GA. Mrs. Dukes was preceded in death by her grandson, Jason Harrell.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Larry Harris officiating. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Maxwell-Purvis Funeral Home.
