Vivian Gordon

Mrs. Vivian Gordon, 85 of Valdosta passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Pruitt Healthcare in Valdosta.  Mrs. Gordon was born March 4, 1933 to the late Jesse & Hattie Mae Jones Sircy.  She was a volunteer Pink Lady at South Georgia Medical Center and became coordinator for the State of Georgia.  

Survivors include her children, Eric Burnett of Jacksonville, Fl, Wesley (Ann) Burnett of Valdosta, Denise (Larry) Williams of Barney, Teresa (Andy) Powell of Lake Park, Mickey Cereijo of Valdosta; stepdaughter, Jo Brown of Tx; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews.  Mrs. Gordon was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Gordon; grandchildren, Deanna McFarland, and Brandy Burnett; brother, George Sircy; sisters, Lucille Sircy, Ozella Miller, Leona Swearingen, and Georgia Jacobs.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Hospice Chaplain Roger Mays officiating.  Interment will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at Purvis Funeral Home.  in lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to Pruitt Hospice of Valdosta, 2501 N.
