Mr. Tony Bailey, 67 of Adel passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Bailey was born October 27, 1950 to Marvin & Geraldine Bailey in Douglas, Ga.  

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth "Bunkie" Bailey of Adel; mother, Geraldine Johnson Bailey of Douglas; brother, John Mark Bailey of Jacksonville, Fl; two sisters, Cindy (Dickie) Berry of Orangeburg, S.C., and Lisa McDonald of Douglas.  Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his father Marvin Bailey.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Albritton, and Bro. Glenn Tanner officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at Purvis Funeral Home.
