Tansy York Obituary

Mrs. Tansy York, 68 of Tifton, formerly of Lenox passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at the Rehab Center of South Georgia. Mrs. York was born June 27, 1950 to the late Ira Lee Herrington & Ruby Hays Herrington.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn York of Tifton; two sisters, Pam Herrington of Baxley, and Melanie Herrington of Baxley. Mrs. York was preceded in death by her brothers, Terry Herrington, Ricky Herrington, Kyle Herrington, and Stan Herrington; and one sister, Marcen Herrington.

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Martha Thames officiating.
