Selma Weidner Obituary

Mrs. Selma Montgomery Weidner, 95 of Quitman passed away October 29, 2019 at South Georgia Medical Center from heart disease and stage 4 chronic kidney disease.  She was born September 23, 1924 in Baxter, Tennessee to the late Wilbur T. Montgomery and Susan Grogan Montgomery.  Mrs. Weidner was a WWII Army Air Force Veteran attached to the 556th Army Air Force Base Unit Stationed at Long Beach, California.  

Survivors include her four children, Linda Darlene Weidner of Ft. Worth, TX, Craig Weidner, of Graham, WA, Gary Weidner of Quitman, and Debra Randall of Quitman; 10 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.  

Mrs. Weidner was a loving mother who gave everything she could to her children.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Quitman and she loved reading her Bible.  

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
