Monty Gaddis Obituary

Mr. Monty Gaddis, 65 of Nashville passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Cook Medical Center. Mr. Gaddis was born October 6, 1952 in Kannapolis, North Carolina. He enlisted in the United States Army for a brief period and attended Victory In Christ Church in Nashville.

Survivors include his children, Joseph Gaddis of New York, Shawna Akins of Maryland, Allen Ray of Valdosta, Diana Ray of Nashville, and Lynn Ray of Fl.; 15 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four nephews, and two nieces; former spouse, Edith Ray of Nashville; and a special friend, Don Exum of Blakley, GA. Mr. Gaddis was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel P. Nicholson, and Elizabeth Nicholson; one sister, Jane Cersey.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Westview Cemetery with Rev. R. T. Castleberry and Rev. Jimmy Spikes officiating.
