Mildred Mayfield Obituary
Mrs. Mildred Mayfield, 87 of Adel passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Cook Senior Living Center. Mrs. Mayfield was born December 22, 1930 to the late Albert Crosby and Mildred Coon Crosby. She attended Brushy Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Albert (Marshalene) Parks of MI, Barbara (Buddy) McLeighton of Sparks, and Bo (Peggy) Box of Valdosta; grandchildren, Al Parks, Jr, Deanna (Jeff) Bloom, Andy (Adrianne) Parks, Barbie (Tony) Sirmans, Albert ( Renee) McLeighton, Jr., Alan George (Courtney) McLeighton, Kimberly (Dusty) McLeighton, Chris Box, Josh (Jenn) Box, and Breana Box, Roger (Denise) Barber, Kristy (Trey) Bryan, Tracey Stewart, Bobby Parks, Timothy Parks, and Carrie Butts; several great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. Mrs. Mayfield was preceded in death by her two children, Robert Parks, and Virginia Parks.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Sparks City Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at Purvis Funeral Home.
