Mrs. Lucille "Ms. Tillie" Hallford, 88 of Quitman passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the Quitman Presbyterian Home. She was born June 25, 1928 to the late Otis & Bertha Long Rucks. Ms. Tillie was a longtime member of Northside Baptist Church, where she served as the pianist & organ player, and taught the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class. She loved to study the Bible.  

Survivors include her son, Lyn (Jannie) Wadsworth of South Carolina; granddaughter, Mandy Lyn Wadsworth; three nieces and one nephew; and a friend & caregiver, Tina Terrell of Quitman. Ms. Tillie was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Hallford.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Larry Harris officiating.
