Linda Griffin

Mrs. Linda Griffin, 68 of Nashville passed away Friday, July 6, 2018 at Tift Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Griffin was born August 9, 1949 to the late A. C. Pearson & Bernice Purvis Pearson.  She worked at Amoco in Nashville before she retired and was a member of Jesus Christ Name Church

Survivors include her children, Johnny (Lucretia) Griffin of Ray City, and Kathleen (Ronald) Stone in Nashville; grandchildren, Keri Brewer, Brandon Stone, Kaitlyn (Tyler) Stone, Dakota (Tristan) Griffin, Austin Griffin, Mikella Griffin, Braelyn Griffin, and Aaron Griffin; great grandchildren, Austin Brewer, Shayla Brewer, Jace Brewer, Jeremiah Stone, Jaycee Stone, and Caden Stone; brothers, Ricky (Shirley) Pearson of Nashville, and Ronnie (Kim) Pearson of Nashville; sister, Carolyn (Verrone) Weeks of Nashville.  Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Elwood Griffin.  

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Marshton Tucker officiating.  Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Nashville.  The family will be receiving friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
