Lillian Howell

Mrs. Lillian Howell, 90 of Adel passed away Friday, June 28, 2019 at Cook Senior Living Center.  Mrs. Howell was born July 23, 1928 to the late Porter & Emma Moncrief Giddens.  She worked as a secretary with a Real Estate Company before she retired and was a member of Westside Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her daughters, Patricia (Rev. Wayne) Smith of Moultrie, and Glynda Hemby of Adel; grandchildren, Marty Howell, Jared Howell, Celena Wingate, Anita Spradley, Joy Nix, and Eric Hemby; great grandchildren, Karston Spradley, Kaleb Spradley, Kinsley Spradley, Wade Howell, Seth Howell, Hayes Hemby, Macon Hemby, Cole Nix, and Cayla Nix; brothers, Tim E. (Bobbie) Giddens of Camilla, L. B. Giddens of Adel, Ron (Elaine) Giddens of Clermont, Fl; and one sister, Loudell (Larry) Greene of Springhill, Fl.  Mrs. Howell was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Howell; son, Don Howell; and one brother, Rogel Giddens.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Smith officiating.  Interment will follow at Sylvester Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at Purvis Funeral Home.
