Lera Caliguiri Obituary

Mrs. Lera Caliguiri, 93 of Cuthbert passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Caliguiri was born May 15, 1925 in Quitman to the late John David Wilson and Ethel Yates Wilson. She was owner of Jole Superette in Quitman before retiring.

Survivors include her daughter, Arneita (Milton) Latner of Cuthbert; son, Joseph Ross (Jerri Wold) Caliguiri of Kentucky; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and one sister, Wilene Hensley of GA. Mrs. Caliguiri was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Caliguiri; two brothers, Wilmer Wilson, and J. D. Wilson; and one sister, Marion Taylor.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Alan Hensley officiating. The family will be receiving friends Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Maxwell-Purvis Funeral Home.
