L. C. Martin Obituary

Mr. L. C. Martin, 81 of Adel passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Martin was born October 7, 1937 to the late Briggs & Ella Mae Cowart Martin. He was an auto parts salesman before he retired and was of Catholic Faith.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Martin of Adel; daughters, Missy (Johnny) Lindsey of Lenox, and Cecelia Bullard of Moultrie; grandchildren, Chad (Kelsi) Bullard, Laura (Derrick) Tucker, Sam ( Jenna) Lindsey, and Toni Leigh (Daniel) Riddle; great granddaughter, Elseigh Clark; brother in law, L. B. Giddens of Adel; and several nieces & nephews. Mr. Martin was preceded in death by two brothers, Chester Martin, and Buddy Martin; and two sisters, Thelma Futch, and Doris Giddens.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Father Fredy Angel officiating. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Halcyon Hospice, 101 E. Northside Dr. Building, E, Valdosta, GA 31602.
