June Wise

Mrs. Linda June Wise, 73 of Quitman passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the Presbyterian Home.  Mrs. Wise was born July 12, 1945 to the late Wyman Reynolds & Myrtice Norton Reynolds.  She worked in the textile industry, local store management and as a homemaker before she retired.  Mrs. Wise was a loving wife and mother, as well as a very nurturing grandmother.

Survivors include her children, Steve (Sherri Lancaster) Wise of Quitman, Keith (Robin) Wise of Quitman, Jeff (Lisa) Wise of Quitman, and Tina (Randy) Rye of Madison, Fl.; grandchildren, Justin Wise, Lacee (Justin Williams) Wise, Erica (Bryan) Godfrey, Amber Wise, Michael (Christina McClelland) Wise, Blake Wise, Dylan Hammett, Meagan (James) Mulhall, Landon Rye, and Kristin Rye; 13 great grandchildren; brothers, Jackie Reynolds of Thomasville, Frankie Reynolds of Chippley, Fl., Chris Reynolds of Bradford, Fl, and Greg Reynolds of Adel; sisters, Judy Warren of Valdsota, and Jacqueline Bellamy of Quitman.  Mrs. Wise was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Wise; two brothers, Dan Reynolds, Jerry Reynolds; two sisters, Diane Bulla, and Marsha Lynn Reynolds.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Barney Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Wise, and Rev. Ben D'Amico officiating.  Interment will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends and loved ones from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service immediately following.
