Mr. Herbert "Shorty" Watson, Jr, 68 of Quitman passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Presbyterian Home Quitman. Mr. Watson was born June 20, 1950 in Tampa, Fl to the late Herbert Watson, Sr & Jettie Theresa Humfleet Watson. Shorty was raised in Tampa and attended school and worked there. Shorty and his wife moved to Quitman in 2004.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Kelsey Watson; sister, Bernice McClish; three brothers, Eddie Grimes, Colin Grimes, and Harold Grimes; numerous nieces & nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later time, per Mr. Watson's wishes.
