Henry "Sonny Boy" Bennett Obituary

Mr. Henry "Sonny Boy" Bennett, 61 of Lenox passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Mr. Bennett was born August 15, 1957 in Adel, GA. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and worked with the Berrien County Road Department before he retired.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Weeks Bennett of Lenox; son, Henry Allen (Aleasha) Bennett of Lenox; grandson, Jacob Allen Bennett; father and mother, Henry C. and Dessie Mae Bennett of Tifton; extended grandchildren, Ellie Kate Cason, Noah Cason, and Esmeralda Torres; sisters, Linda (Hody) Rutland of Lenox, Marilyn (Randy) Cannady of Lenox, and Regina (David) Robinson of Tifton; several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Stewart, Bro. Joe Simpson, and Rev. Greg Hester officiating. Interment will follow at New River Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
