Francis Conger Obituary

Mrs. Francis Louise Conger, 87 of Nashville, formerly of Valdosta passed away Monday, August 13, 2018 at South Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Conger was born February 15, 1931 to the late Butler & Betty Stone Exum.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Michael Conger, and David Conger; brother, Thomas Exum of Valdosta; two sisters, Lou Annie Crosby of Nashville, and Janice Newell of Blackshear, GA.; several nieces & nephews. Mrs. Conger was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Conger; children, Donald Conger, Harold Conger, Debbie Conger, and Francis Conger; brothers, Paul Exum, Charlie Exum, Ezekiel Exum, and Jonathan D. Exum; sisters, Mildred Peacock, Emma Jean Yeomans, Betty Faye Dells, and Polly Jane Darby.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Richard McNair, and Bro. Charles Connell officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills in Valdosta. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
