Mrs. Frances Franklin, 92 of Quitman passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Langdale Hospice House.  Mrs. Franklin was born October 27, 1924 to the late Oscar & Sallie Kennedy Greene. She retired as a executive secretary with Rider System, and was a member of Morven Baptist Church.  

Survivors include her husband, Luther Franklin of Quitman; children, Britt (Dot) Campbell of PA, Timothy Franklin of Miami, Fl, Tammy (Curtis) Peterson of Miami, Fl, and Bonnie (William) Marcum of Valrico, Fl; grandchildren, Lindsey Marcum, William Daryl Marcum, Jr., Ryan Campbell, Kevin Campbell, Christopher Campbell, Chad Peterson, Lauren Peterson, T. J. Franklin, and Nicole Grace; great grandchildren, Kaylee Campbell, Zachery Campbell, Landon Franklin, Addison Franklin, Hayden Grace, and Arianna Grace; two brothers, Oscar Greene, Jr. of Milton ,Fl, and Johnny (Carolyn) Greene of Quitman; two sisters, Juanita Howard of Miami, Fl, and Irma Drake of Quitman; and sister in law, Bobbie Greene of Quitman.  Mrs. Franklin was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Greene, and two sisters, Maxine Perry, and Sally Hawley.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Morven Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Pitt officiating.  Interment will follow at Campground Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Morven Baptist Church, 11180 Adel Hwy, Morven, GA  31638.
