Mr. Donald Ray Booth, 62 of Lenox passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at his home. Mr. Booth was born August 18, 1955 to the late Nathan Ely Booth and Pauline Tate Booth. He was a retired painting/seal coating contractor.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Myers Booth of Lenox; two sons, Ray Fowler of Colorado Springs, Co, and Chris Fowler of Colorado Springs, Co; daughter and son in law, Kaysie and Tyler Douglas of Tallahassee; stepdaughter, Kisha (Matt) Moody of Nashville; stepson, Drew (Allie) Weeks of Lenox; grandchildren, Brandon Fowler, Ashlee Dorsey, Alexis Dorsey, Logan Fowler, Kelsey Fowler, Logan Rowe, Aiden Weeks, Jake Moody and Josh Moody; sisters, Frances (Joel) McCaulley of Houston, Tx, Betty Ann Gatlin and Teresa Johnson of Bridgeport, TX; his parents in law, Oklan and Lucy Myers of Lenox. Mr. Booth is also survived by many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Louise and Peggy Ann, and his brothers, John and Dale.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Pastor Eron White officiating. Interment will follow at Wright's Chapel Cemetery in Sumner, GA. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
