Dolly Sue Richards

Mrs. Dolly Sue Richards, 71 of Tifton passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Tift Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Richards was born August 27, 1948 to the late Robert & Adeline Fordham.  She was a member of the Moultrie First Church of the Nazarene and was a homemaker.  

Survivors include her children, Michael (Sommer) York of Pavo, and Wendy (Bret) Owens of Thomasville; grandchildren, Griffin York, Cage Owens, Maclay York, Celeste Owens, and Anderson York.  Mrs. Richards was preceded in death by six sisters and one brother.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Okapilco Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Shierling officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
