Mr. Cloyd Bloser, Jr., 65 of Sparks passed away Monday, July 17, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Bloser was born August 7, 1951 to the late Cloyd & Virginia Galberieth Bloser, Sr.  He was a member of the Sparks United Methodist Church and owner and magazine publisher of the Southern Horse Connection.  He was also a musician and an honorary member of the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 1090.

Survivors include his son, Brent (Ray) Bloser of Adel; grandchildren, Austin Bloser, and Jade Bloser; brother, Barrie (Toni) Bloser of Statesboro, GA.; sisters, Elizabeth (Terrell) Cato of Adel, and Kathryn Griffin of Leesburg; several nieces, nephews and great nieces & nephews. Mr. Bloser was preceded in death by his brother in law, Jack Griffin.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Brookshire, Rev. Roger Mays, and Rev. Mike Brannon officiating. Interment will follow at Sparks City Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at Purvis Funeral Home.
