Clifton "Buddy" Jackson

Mr. Clifton "Buddy" Jackson, 78  of Valdosta passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 at his residence.  Mr. Jackson was born March 10, 1941 in Berrien County.  He was a roofer for 21 years and a farmer for most of his life.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Rose Jackson of Valdosta; three daughters, Angel Jordan of Tallahassee, Fl, Linda Roberts of Woodville, Fl, and Robin Jackson of Crawfordville, Fl; stepdaughter, Abigail Carter of Valdosta; stepson, Sam Carter of Landmark, Fl; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Gene Jackson of Adel; and one sister, Bonnie (Edward) Fugh of Guin, Ala.  Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry & Viola Jackson; son, Clifton Jackson, Jr.; daughter, Geneva Jackson, one sister, Cora Lee Jackson; and two brothers, Cleiston Jackson, and John Henry Jackson, Jr

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Chaplain Jeff May officiating.  The family will be receiving friends Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home. The family will be gathering at the residence of Gene Jackson, 66 Harrell Rd., Adel, GA.
