Charlie Burt Obituary
Mr. Charlie Burt, 80 of Moultrie passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Mr. Burt was born February 15, 1938 to the late Clifford & Maudie Irene Lawson Burt, Sr. He served in the National Guard and was a member of Cross View Baptist Church in Moultrie.
Survivors include his wife, Gracie Burt of Moultrie; daughter, Megan (Janice) Burt of Virginia; grandchildren, Kyle Heatherly, Amber Leeann Heatherly, Amy Marie Heatherly, and Christopher Matthew Burt; brothers, Clifford (Barbara) Burt of Rome, and Grady Burt of Rome; sisters, Nyokie Johnson of Al.,and Delilah Petrone of Al. Mr. Burt was preceded in death by his daughter, Charlotte Heatherly; son in law, Greg Heatherly; and brother, Herbert Burt.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 15, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Pastor John O'Neal, and Pastor Chris McPherson officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at Purvis Funeral Home.
