Mr. Charles Goff, 67 of Lenox passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Goff was born April 5, 1952 to the late Mattie Goff Weeks. He was raised by his late grandparents, Willie & Pearl Goff. Mr. Goff was employed as a Park Ranger with Reed Bingham State Park.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Goff; children, James "William" (Deliah) Goff, Daniel Dean, Bobby (Natalie) Dean, Jr, Stanley Dean, Nelson (Linda) Dean and Louise (James) Wicware; grandchildren, Mickey (Amanda) Tuggle, Darren (Codi) Goff, Michael Dean, Brandon Dean, Dennis Dean, Darren Dean, Brittany Dean, Melissa Dean, Teresa Goff, Samantha Lafferty, Linda Lafferty, and Logan Mayor; great grandchildren, Melyni Tuggle, Brianna Tuggle, Jayden Dean, Brooklynn Dean, Nathaniel Wilson, Alexis Lafferty, and Carter Dean; great great grandchildren, Kambri Durden; several nieces & nephews; brother, Bill (Faye) Goff; sisters, Linda (Kenneth) Griffin, Carolyn Suggs, and sister in law, Maryann Goff. Mr. Goff was preceded in death by three brothers, Bo Goff, Roger Goff, and Hoarce Goff; and one sister, Sarah Goff.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at New Hope Church with Rev. Rick Baldree, and Rev. Elvin East officiating Interment will follow at Enigma City Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
