Mr. Charles Bryant, 78 of Quitman passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at South Georgia Medical Center.  Mr. Bryant was born November 24, 1939 to the late Parrish Bryant and Violet Bozeman Bryant.  He was a farmer and carpenter before retiring and a member of the Barney First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Bryant of Quitman; children, Robin (Greg) Squires of Quitman, Lynn (Davis) Renfroe of Quitman, Cheri (Hank) Wilson of Quitman, Jackie (Scott) Ward of Barney, Crystal (Jim) Wise of Colorado, Roger Yeomans of Thomasville, Jeff Yeomans (Richard Chastain) of Thomasville, and George (Lynn) Yeomans of Hahira; 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; sister, Barbara (Duane) Bass of Virginia Beach, VA; niece & nephew, Steven Bass of VA, and Stephanie Frantz of OH; great nieces & nephews, Sophie Frantz, Bobby Frantz, Amadeus Bass, Brandi (Dennis) Aikens, and Ashley Singletary; his best friend, Snoopy.

Graveside services will be held Monday, January 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Earl Justice officiating.  The family will be receiving friends Sunday evening from 6-9 p.m. at Maxwell-Miller Funeral Home.
