Carolyn Brady

Mrs. Carolyn Brady, 81 of Sparks passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at her residence.  Mrs. Brady was born November 22, 1937 to the late Jack & Mae Jones Becton.  She retired from Nashville Textile as a seamstress and was a member of Sparks United Methodist Church.  
Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Scott and Karen Brady of Stafford, VA; one daughter and son in law, Robin and Billy Bryan of Lenox; grandchildren, Renea and Anthony Barnett, Brittney and Joey Fender, Zachary and Morgan Brady, Johnathan Brady, and Kaitlin Brady; great grandchildren, Melissa Barnett, and John Parker Brady; brother in law and sister in law, Richard and Sherri Brady of Nashville; and sisters in law, Mary Odom of Adel and Robbie Nell Becton of Adel.  Mrs. Brady was preceded in death by her husband John Brady; two sons, Bob Brady, and Andy Brady; brother, Jackie Becton; and sister, Janie Brock.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Sparks United Methodist Church with Rev. John Harrington officiating.  Interment will follow at Sparks City Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
