Mr. William "Billy" Drew, 77 of Quitman passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Brooks County Hospital after a lengthy illness.  Mr. Drew was born May 21, 1940 to the late Capers Wade Drew & Marie Massey Drew.  He was a farmer and a member of the Quitman United Methodist Church.  

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Drew of Quitman; children, Craig (Sheila) Drew of Quitman, Zinda (Robin) McDaniel of Quitman, and Amy Drew & Oggie Siegel of Arizona; grandchildren, Bridgett (Zac) White, Drew (Ashley) McDaniel, Meagan Payne, Amber Drew, Jacey King, Whitney (Jay) Blanton, and Amy Broyles; great grandchildren, Layne White, Zoey White, Zain White, Kendyl McDaniel, Christopher Payne, Charlotte Payne, and Piper Blanton; three brothers, Capers Drew of Valdosta, Julian Drew of FL., and Selvyn Drew of Barwick; one sister, Dorothy Drury of Athens.  Mr. Drew was preceded in death by one brother, Wilbur Drew.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Quitman United Methodist Church with Rev. Pam France and Rev. Jay Robinson officiating.  Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends Saturday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Maxwell-Miller Funeral Home.
