Mrs. Betty Radney, 88 of Morven passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Radney was born October 3, 1929 to the late William Garner Spell and Ina Jean Moody Spell. She retired as a merchant at the Little Farm Store in Morven.
Survivors include her children, Lowell Timothy (Sandra) Radney of Morven, Betty Jean (Charles) Moon of Bowman, GA, and Barbara (Clifford) Broadwell of Quitman; grandchildren, Hope (Greg) White, Eric Barnes, Missy Register, Kristen (Brandon) Barker; great grandchildren, Macie, Kali, Radney, Scott, Kolby, Tristan, Austin, Preston, and Casey; great great grandchildren, Ellie Gray, Owen, Cowan, and James. Mrs. Radney was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Radney; son, Lowell Cecil Radney; grandson, Randy Croft, sister, Vivian Boyd; and son in law, Edwin Barnes.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Morven Baptist Church with Bro. Greg White, and Rev. Josh Wall officiating. Interment will follow at Campground Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Saturday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Maxwell-Purvis Funeral Home.
