Arie Monk

Mr. Arie Monk, Jr, 57 of Adel passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019 at his residence.  Mr. Monk was born August 30, 1962 in Homerville, GA.  He was a motor grader operator with Cook County.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Monk of Adel; children, Billy Ray (Lily) Monk of Old Towne, Fl, Bobby Joe (Delphie) Monk of Moultrie, Jeffery (Terrie) Monk of Nashville, Mandi (Jona) Browning of Nashivlle, Mone (Don) Baker of Nashville, and Tiffany Monk of Adel; grandchildren, Nicholas Green, Abby Monk, Wyatt Monk, Chole Monk, Taylor Browning, Tyler Browning, Jonah Browning, Jr, Sydner Browning, Sophia Browning, Bryce Monk, Daylen Monk, McKee Baker, Kolt Baker, Jason Miley, Jr, Jaxon Miley, and Grace Miley; father, Billy Monk of Blackshear, mother, Dorothy Monk of Nashville; sisters, Doris Samples of Nashville, and Wanda Fannon of Nashville; and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Matthews officiating.  The family will be receiving friends Saturday afternoon from 4-6 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
