Ann Moore

Mrs. Ann Moore, 86 of Adel passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Fl.  Mrs. Moore was born December 30, 1932 to the late Bryant & Mamie Boyett Gaskins.  She retired in the 1990's from Nashville Textile and was a homemaker the last 20 years.  Mrs. Moore was a member of New Life Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Donald "Donnie" (Jacqueline) Moore, Jr. of Adel, Mike (Jane) Moore of Worth Co., Martha Moore Tucker of Adel, Carolyn (Larry) Stone of Worth Co, and Sandy Moore (Ryan) McDaniel of Adel; grandchildren, Chase Moore of Adel, Andy Womack of Cummings, Stephanie Boykin of Adel, Rebecca Null of Doerun, Carrie Moore of Decatur, Michael Stone of Athens, Ashley Stone of Albany, Chris Harper of Montgomery, AL, and Blake McDaniel of Adel; great grandchildren, Ty Womack, Mason Womack, Jacey Boykin, Noah Boykin, Zander Null, Will Stone, and Lillie Stamps; several nieces & nephews.  Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Moore, Sr.; granddaughter, Melissa Moore; brothers, Bullock Gaskins, W. J. Gaskins, and John A Gaskins; sisters, Eldie Gaskins, Mildred Royals, and Mary Nell Royals.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at New Life Baptist Church with Rev. Harris Whitman officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
