Allen Denton Obituary

Mr. Allen Denton, 77 of Quitman passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at Southern Pines Nursing Home in Thomasville. Mr. Denton was born April 26, 1941 to the late Larkin & Frankie Pearl Denton. Mr. Denton served as an attorney in the Quitman community and was a partner of Long & Denton Attorneys at Law.

Survivors include his wife, Mindy Denton of Quitman; son, Daniel Dean Denton (Terri Korchick) of Fl.; daughters, Deeann (Michael) Webb of N.C., and Maria Nicole Furney of Quitman; grandchildren, Danielle (Thomas) Poucher, Taylor Webb, Casey Webb, Allen Brock, Beau Brock, and Drew Furney; and a special friend, Eugene "Cowboy" Ivey of Quitman. Mr. Denton was preceded in death by one brother, Dan Denton.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Harris officiating.
