Albert Sexton Obituary

Mr. Albert Sexton, 81 of Adel passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Mr. Sexton was born July 26, 1937 to the late Ed Med Sexton & Lela Buford Holcumb Sexton.

Survivors include his brothers, Bobby Sexton of Adel, Austin Sexton of Adel, Joe Sexton of Cedar Bluff, AL, and Jim Sexton of KY; niece & care taker, Kryste Rodriguez of Webb, AL; and several nieces & nephews. Mr. Sexton was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard Sexton, Doc Sexton, and Johnny Sexton; and three sisters, Eloise Brewster, Shirley Sexton Matthews, and Francis Sexton.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. William Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Lenox Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
