Mary Jo Hawkins Obituary
Mrs. Mary Jo Hawkins, 91 of Lenox passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Hawkins was born April 25, 1926 to the late Robert & Molly Mercer Hart. She was a homemaker and attended the Lenox Christian Fellowship Church.
Survivors include her children, Johnny (Pam) Hawkins of Lenox, and Larry Hawkins of Valdosta; grandchildren, Chris Hawkins of Tampa, Fl, Carla (Jay) Ricks of Valdosta, Traci (Tony) Stone of Omega, Staci Hawkins of Alapaha, and Nicky Hawkins of Valdosta; great grandchildren, Justin Stone of Omega, Zackery Stone of Omega, Amber Stone of Omega, Tyler Hawkins of Lenox, Jade Ricks of Valdosta, Ella Ricks of Valdosta, and Jack Ricks of Valdosta. Mrs. Hawkins was preceded in death by her husband, Walton Hawkins; one son, Billy Hawkins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmie Hinson, and Bishop Brad McVea officiating. Interment will follow at Lenox City Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at Purvis Funeral Home.
