I have just learned of this terrible tragedy. I am so sorry for your loss.
Linda, as she preferred we call her instead of Ms. Gibbs, was a very vibrant, cheerful, and kind person - always a smile on her face. We will truly miss her visits to our office.
Praying for you and your family during this difficult time.

Bridgette, Tony, Ron and Ricky,
I really do not have any words that can ease the pain and heartbreak you must be feeling, but I just wanted you all to know I love you and I'm praying for you. God needed this beautiful lady, that's all I can figure. Linda was so special to me, she was my first Sunday school teacher and always shared the love of Jesus Christ with us. No matter how much time passed, when I saw Linda it was as if no time had passed. There was a big hug and an I love you! You were blessed to have such a wonderful mother. If I can ever do ANYTHING, please reach out!
God Bless your family,
Michelle Powers

Dear Tony, Rickey, Bridgette, Ron and families.
Growing up, we thought we were all related! We were always at your house it seems and you all are family to us!! My heart is broken for all. She will be dearly missed by all who ever had the pleasure of knowing her. Bright Red Lipstick kisses....she left a heartfelt kiss on all of us!! ❤️😘
The first time I ever had Deer burgers was at your house...I knew they tasted a little different...she didn't tell us until we were already eating them. 😉😉. I remember when she was pregnant with Ron, standing In our yard, hands held under her belly....so beautiful and so precious...and Mama , Vinnie, and Linda kept talking...so we got to play longer. 😃 What a beautiful, sweet, loving, precious lady!! What a blessing to have such a prayer warrior Mother...so you know that you know that you know that you, your children, your children's children have been covered in prayer for generations to come!! What a beautiful legacy!! I
feel so blessed to know she prayed over me. We
have all been blessed just to know her!! I love you all and will carry the memories in my heart and will cover you in prayer always! Love and prayers, Laura Fulp Casteel

A truly great lady will be missed! I will never forget her coming to Dorsey's Supermarket and getting frozen Hershey Pies for her clients. Mrs. Linda always had a smile on her face and a quick comment to brighten someone's day.

We lived across the street from Linda and Tony for 12 years in Adel. They were great neighbors. Linda was always there when we needed help with something. Since we moved to Brunswick 5 years ago, we have received several phone calls from her to check on us. She loved her family and always took care of them. She made us feel like family members and invited us to family birthday parties and family meals. I hope the family will continue the Sunday gathering for lunch. I'm sure that's what Linda would want. Adel has endured a great loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family.

To the Gibbs Family:
I met Linda several years ago when she was our sales rep from Colson Printing Co.. She was a true professional and such a joy to work with. I always looked so forward to her visits. She was a sweet, warm, caring, Christian lady and someone who I was honored to call my friend. I am utterly shocked to hear of her sudden passing, but please know how very much Linda was loved by all. She always talked about how much she loved the Lord and her family. You all were her whole world and she loved you dearly. You all are in my prayers during this terrible loss.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

I had the honor of meeting Linda on a professional basis when I worked at Adel Memorial Hospital about 12 years ago. Our relationship changed to friends shortly after we met. Originally from Philadelphia and new to Adel Memorial, Linda was so helpful to me as I adjusted to the ways of the wonderful South. She always had a smile and a lovely story about someone in her family. We have truly lost a special person but have definitely gained a beautiful angel in Heaven. She gave me a glass hanging Angel when I left and it still hangs in my home. Fly high Miss Linda. You will never be forgotten.
