Mr. Leighton Thomas Delk, Sr., 64 of Quitman passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at South Georgia Medical Center.  Mr. Delk was born June 25, 1953 in Quitman was was a member of Quitman Church of Christ.  He was a truck driver with Archer Daniels Midland.

Survivors include his children, Leighton Thomas Delk, Jr (Brittany Still) of FL, and Dusty Sherrod Delk of Quitman; parents, Kenneth and Margaret Jones Delk of Quitman; former spouse, Windy Delk of Fl; brothers, Mike Delk of S.C., and Keith (Susan) Delk of S.C.; aunts, Linda Nesbitt of Morven, Katherine Fender of Douglas, and Ann Davidson of TN.; nephew, Kyle Delk of Quitman.  

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Maxwell-Miller Funeral Home with Minister J. T. Brown and Bro. Andy Sykes officiating.  Interment will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Maxwell-Miller Funeral Home.
