Mrs. Jeannie Ashworth, 57 of Quitman passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Langdale Hospice House.  Mrs. Ashworth was born January 5, 1960 to the late Bobby Lee & Viola Sapp Ashworth.  She was a landscaper and owner of the Double J Nursery and a member of Pine Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Berrien Co.

Survivors include her son, Michael J. (Bonnie) Suggs, Jr of Monroe, GA.; two grandchildren, Caleb Suggs, and Davis Suggs; three brothers, James Ashworth of Adel, Rodney Watson of Lanier Co., and Robert Watson of Nashville; sister, Angie Tucker of Adel.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at Nashville Memorial Gardens with Rev. Robby Paulk officiating.  The family will be receiving friends Wednesday from 1-3 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home, 207 E. Mitchell St., Adel, GA
