Mr. Frank Lowery, 69 of Adel passed away Monday, November 6, 2017 at his residence.  Mr. Lowery was born April 21, 1948 to the late Herbert & Lorene Hunt Lowery.  He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and received the Silver Star Medal.  Mr. Lowery attended Hahira Church of God.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Lowery of Adel; children, Frankie, Buddy, Charlotte, Donna, and Genevieve; stepchildren, Wendy (Chris) Yawn of Sparks, and Andy Roach of Adel; step grandchildren, Dalton Yawn, and Brody Yawn; sisters, Wilene Keys of Jackson, MS, Jean Goddard of Buloxi, MS, Becky Sullivan of Arabi, AL, and Betty Keller of Albany, GA.  Mr. Lowery was preceded in death by one brother, Buddy Lowery; two sisters, Ann Cunningham, and Florence Lindsey.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Leonard Harnage officiating.
