Mr. Bobby Pearson, 72 of Valdosta, formerly of Nashville passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 at Tift Regional Medical Center.  Mr. Pearson was born September 10, 1944 to the late Madison & Mary Jane Nix Pearson.  He worked at Nashville Textile before retiring and was a member of Lax Community Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Pearson of Valdosta; children, John Pearson of North Carolina, Gene Pearson of Valdosta, Chrissiee (Efrain) Sandoval of Brookfield, and Renee Pearson of Valdosta; grandchildren, Jacquline Sandoval, and Nataleigh Sandoval; brother, Madison Pearson of Lakeland, GA.  Mr. Pearson was preceded in death by his brothers, A. C. Pearson, Arthur Pearson, George Pearson; sisters, Ellen Wilson, Annie Bell Stone, Ethel Railey, Stella Corbett, Bessie Gurrant, and Louise Pippin.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Marston Tucker officiating.  Interment will follow at Nashville Memorial Gardens.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at Purvis Funeral Home.
