Mrs. Betty Plair, 74 of Enigma passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Tift Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Plair was born August 25, 1943 to the late James Leon Mullis, Sr., and Madge Revels Mullis.  She attended the Church of God in Enigma and retired from Tift Health Care.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas M. Plair of Enigma; three children, Dewayne (Chrissy) Hayes of Fitzgerald, Darlene (David) Swett of Tifton, and Debbie (Don) Chapman of Tifton; two stepchildren, Kathy Exum of Tifton, and Marita (Anthony) Sharpe of Moultrie; 17 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; two brothers, Melvin Mullis of Adel, and James (Martha) Mullis of Tifton.  Mrs. Plair was preceded in death by her stepson, Michael Plair; and one brother, Earl Mullis.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Pastor Ricky Revels officiating.  Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Sycamore.  The family will be receiving friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
